Both writers (Susan Adams and Kyle Wiens) have very good arguments on why grammar is important in the work place and out of the work place. Susan Adams makes a good point when she says that people with better grammar tend to be less sloppy. She says that people that use good grammar show more respect and intelligence towards other people in and out of conversation. In conversation it shows that you are actually paying attention and are interested in what the person has to say. She also gives a few examples from Kyle Weins article when he says that bad grammar makes people look stupid from certain points of views. He uses social media networks such as Facebook as an example. Explaining that people using bad grammar on Facebook reflects a poor projection of yourself. Whereas if you were to use good grammar, it would reflect intelligence and other good characteristics of yourself. He also says that he has found that people who tend to use good grammar, also tend to make fewer mistakes doing other tasks completely unrelated to writing.
